THINGS TO DO IN THE AREA

A train enthusiasts dream! The cottage is located next to the historical Cave Crossing where you can watch the trains pass by.

Grab your walking boots or bike and enjoy an adventure along the Trans Pennine Trail!
The Trans Pennine Trail (TPT) is a 215 mile long path and runs coast-to-coast between Southport and Hornsea. It follows an old goods railway line, decommissioned in the 1970's / early 1980's.
Popular with many is the Blacktoft to Brough route. The Village of Broomfleet is situated along this route in the peaceful countryside, making our accommodation the perfect place to relax.

The local restaurant ‘The Black Horse’ is in the neighbouring village of Ellerker (2.8 miles).
The village of South Cave (3.7 miles) boasts two pubs, ‘The Fox and Coney Inn’ and ‘The Bear Inn’. Food and drink are also available at the ‘Cave Bar & Kitchen’. South Cave also has ‘South Cave Takeaway’.
